Dr. med. (SRB) Vladimir Marinković is a specialist in orthopaedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system. He trained as a specialist at the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in Belgrade and worked there for ten years before moving to Switzerland — more than 20 years of clinical experience in total.
He holds the Swiss FMH certificates of proficiency (Fähigkeitsausweis) in acupuncture, manual medicine and musculoskeletal ultrasound. In day-to-day practice his focus is on non-surgical, ultrasound-guided treatments — infiltrations, hyaluronic acid injections and PRP (platelet-rich plasma).
Because his acupuncture qualification is recognised by Swiss health insurers, acupuncture treatment is covered by basic mandatory insurance (Grundversicherung) — you do not need supplementary insurance. Consultations are held in German, English or Serbian.
